A night shoot at Shi Shi Beach near the Point of Arches on the Olympic Coast... one of my first night photos... I went there with 2 of my best buddies. Cigars, scotch, photos, brown drinking water, and adventure!

One of my first low-light shoots. Candles only for light... And she said "Yes!"

I always enjoy playing in low-light settings... I think someone tossed something onto the fire as I was shooting a longer exposure and these strings of light were the result

I was lucky enough to run into a new photographer acquaintance who showed me a new way of capturing star shots. It was a new moon, and the only light inside the lookout was similar to a candle's light.

My buddy and I went on a dude trip to Rialto beach just north of "Hole in the wall" for a cold & wet November overnighter... We found a piece of old rope that washed up on the beach and lit it on fire

This was the first time I shot an illuminated tent...I thought the contrast of the mountain-scape, and the city lights was a neat idea to capture...

One of my favorite things about trekking in Nepal was stepping out into the cold night air and simply looking up...

As i was trying to take a long exposure at Shi Shi beach, my buddy thought it'd be funny to take a sparkler and ruin my photo... It actually turned out to be quite cool AND he tripped and fell at the end, which is why you see the light beam go down near the shore (smile)

I took the opportunity to snap a couple photos prior to heading up the mountain at about 2am... It was surprising to see so much light!
